Why I Love Building with AI Tools

Copilots, Not Autopilot

AI assistants excel at clearing the runway for creative work. I rely on them to summarize dense threads, scaffold tedious boilerplate, and spot missing test cases. They deliver leverage, not replacements for sound engineering judgment.

Designing Reliable Workflows

Integrating AI tools intentionally means defining guardrails: pair them with robust CI, ensure code reviews stay human-led, and capture learnings in shared documentation. These rituals stop hallucinations from slipping into production and keep the team confident.

Why It Matters

The best outcome is happier engineers who spend time on architecture decisions, pairing, and user insights. AI removes toil, frees up capacity for the hard conversations, and invites folks from more backgrounds to contribute. That’s the future I’m building toward.
